Sales and Prices Continue to Rise

Sales in Quebec continued to show strong growth in November, as transactions jumped by 38 per cent.

The province of Quebec continued to post excellent results in November 2020. A total of 10,496 residential transactions were concluded, a 38 per cent increase compared to November of last year.
The number of properties for sale decreased by 36 per cent, while new listings jumped by 17 per cent.

Finally, the median price of single-family homes rose by 23 per cent compared to November of last year, posting a median price of $330,000.

  • Montreal: $435,000 (+23 per cent)
  • Gatineau: $330,000 (+21 per cent)
  • Quebec City: $279,000 (+7 per cent)
  • Sherbrooke: $260,000 (+12 per cent)
  • Trois-Rivières: $189,000 (+16 per cent)
  • Saguenay: $187,000 (+11 per cent)
